The Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI) has granted NOVASYS PHARMA S.L. funding for the development of a Research and Development project.

The research project, “BIONOVA: Development of a new ecological biocide formulated from bioactive extracts obtained from vegetative and productive papaya biomass” – IDI-20200578, aims to develop a new biocide (fungicide and/or nematicide and/or insecticide) using a bioactive extract derived from papaya residues and fruits. The project includes formulation, activity testing, and studies on the biocidal efficacy of the extracts and resulting formulations in both conventional and organic farming systems.

The project, with a 12-month timeframe, began in April 2020 and is being carried out by NOVASYS at its facilities in Benahadux (Almería), in collaboration with the Tecnova Technology Centre. The project will involve a total investment of €198,604.00. It falls under the R&D Projects program, subsidized by the CDTI, supported by the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, and co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) through the “Smart Growth Operational Programme 2014–2020.”

NOVASYS PHARMA S.L. has participated in the ICEX-Next Export Initiation Program, with support from ICEX and co-financing from European FEDER funds. The aim of this support is to contribute to the international development of the company and its surrounding environment.

NOVASYS PHARMA S.L. has received funding from the European Regional Development Fund, whose objective is to improve the use and quality of information and communication technologies and access to them. Thanks to this support, the company has implemented a firewall to enhance its competitiveness and productivity. This initiative was carried out in 2021 with the support of the CYBERSECURITY program of the Chamber of Commerce of Almería.

NOVASYS PHARMA S.L. has received funding from the European Regional Development Fund, aimed at improving the use and quality of information and communication technologies and access to them. Thanks to this support, the company has implemented an ERP system to enhance its competitiveness and productivity. This action was carried out in 2021, with support from the INDUSTRY 4.0 program of the Chamber of Commerce of Almería.

The company Novasys Pharma S.L. has received funding from the European Regional Development Fund, whose objective is to improve the competitiveness of SMEs. Thanks to this support, the company launched an International Digital Marketing Plan aimed at improving its online positioning in foreign markets during 2021. This initiative was carried out with the support of the XPANDE DIGITAL Program from the Chamber of Commerce of Almería.

NOVASYS PHARMA SOCIEDAD LIMITADA has received funding from European Funds, aimed at strengthening sustainable growth and the competitiveness of SMEs. With this support, the company has launched an Action Plan to enhance its competitiveness through digital transformation, online promotion, and e-commerce in international markets during 2024. This initiative was carried out with the support of the Xpande Digital Program of the Chamber of Commerce of Almería. #EuropeFeels

Novasys Pharma Sociedad Limitada has received funding from the European Regional Development Fund, aimed at enhancing the competitiveness of SMEs. Thanks to this support, the company launched an Action Plan to improve its positioning in foreign markets by implementing innovative solutions during 2020. This initiative was carried out with the support of the InnoXport Program of the Chamber of Commerce of Almería.

An incentive has been received from the Agency for Innovation and Development of Andalusia IDEA, under the Regional Government of Andalusia, co-financed at 80% by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) for the execution of the project: “New Fertilizer Manufacturing Facilities”, with the aim of meeting the goal: "Achieve a more competitive business network", under the Order of Incentives for industrial development, improved competitiveness, digital transformation, and job creation in Andalusia (excluding the SME digital transformation line).
The approved aid amount is €170,464.78.

NOVASYS PHARMA SOCIEDAD LIMITADA has also received European Funds, aimed at strengthening sustainable growth and the competitiveness of SMEs. With this support, the company launched an Internationalization Plan to improve its competitive positioning abroad in 2024.
